Latrice Carter

Biography

Hailing from St. Louis, MO, Latrice Carter has been a member of the Georgia Army National Guard since September 2011. While working as a Signal Support Specialist for the U.S. Army, she lived in places as diverse as Hawaii, Guam and Korea. During the past six years of military service, she has been awarded ARCOMs, AAMs, and other achievement medals. Buulding upon her early career experience in networking and communications, Latrice is currently attending college to earn a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting. She is expecting to graduate in May 2018. In her free time, she enjoys reading books and articles about African American history and culture. Latrice currently works as the Institute's Administrative Assistant, where she assist in the coordination and execution of the weekly Race and Difference Colloquium Series.
